Locations — Minnesota Wedding Photographers & Beyond

We are southeastern Minnesota wedding photographers located between Rochester Minnesota and St. Paul / Minneapolis, but happily serve all of Minnesota with class and care. Though our studio is located in Pine Island, our heart (and portfolio) reflect our love for Rochester, Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the greater Twin Cities area. We're not only Rochester Minnesota Wedding Photographers; we have captured weddings across the united states (South Dakota, Texas, Iowa, just to name a few), making San Antonio and Spillville feel like a piece of home as well. Our goal is to approach each wedding from our unique perspective and love for carefree and joy of midwest living. Be it in Rochester, St. Paul, or beyond, our cameras are an extension of our hearts and home.

I found this sweet poem (adapted from Eugene Field) years ago and saved it for today. My sentiments exactly. 😊 ❤️ Happy Valentines Day! @kurtisamundson
"She loved winter, snow, and ice..." reading Madeline and marveling at the piles of snow that tower over our mailbox. Thankful that Grandma came and got us out of hibernation, squinting in the brightness, plunking icicles and sliding down drifts. #sophìamagdalena
I'm so falling in love with home photography these days. You could say that the temperatures leave me with few other options and I'm just a whole-hearted Minnesotan making the best of winter... And you wouldn't be totally wrong. But that's only a tiny part of the story. Because the best part of winter is the closeness and cozy times together that let us pause and see the glory of real life.
These moments were just part of one of those frigid outside, golden inside afternoons at my sister's house. We waited for Kevin to wake from resting after a plow shift and served him up generous doses of coffee. Love these two!

To all the beautiful souls who trusted us to capture their stories in images in 2018: We're so thankful for you! What a delight to meet and get to know each one of you! On the coldest day of the year it seemed fitting to look back over last year's happiness and remember all the beautiful days to come!
A year ago today we were watching Sophie antics on the ultrasound screen for the first time with tearful joy.... Somersaults and waving arms... We could already hear her tiny beating heart at just 10 weeks 0 days. What a precious thing life is. She was God's idea long before we knew she would exist and this thought brings me so much comfort. He knows our days and has ordained each one of them for His glory. #sophìamagdalena
Our Sophie-girl turned five months today! We're hunkering down with lots of snuggles tonight since she just came down with her first case of sniffles and sleep hasn't come so easy. Somehow, her smile and giggles are still at the ready. It's hard to stay well this time of year when the sun and the earth sleep more than wake. But we'll savor the rest while the soil resets and dream of all those daffodil bulbs hiding under the snow. #sophìamagdalena
Life is so much better when there are grandpas who love you unconditionally through all the mood swings and think your giggles are the best sound on earth. ❤️ #herestograndpas #sophìamagdalena
Snow baby visits the conservatory. Spending an hour breathing in the oxygen from all the plants and watching your dry skin plump up like a raisin is the best medicine in the middle of a Minnesota winter. Fur bonnet courtesy of Aunt Em who understands minimalist hairstyles can be quite chilly. 🤣 #sophìamagdalena
Cozy winter newborns are the best... ❤️
Our 2018 was predominantly influenced by a certain new little person, but we're not complaining in the least! We're so thankful for God's kindness and patience with us as we learn from these new experiences and desire with all our heart to bring Him glory in everything. #sophìamagdalena #2018bestnine
